The Weatherman Lies

I notice that lately, the weather has not been that accurate lately. What is up with that? I used to always count on the weather man to tell me what to expect but lately for a while now, they have been way off. Scary! I mean i know it is not always that accurate but seriously they have been saying snow over here for weeks now and nothing at all. I know, I should just get over it, but its something that I have been saying, when they say it going to rain, its sunny and vice versa.

Summer Camp at Camp Kresge

We always dabbled with the idea of sending the kids of to some type of summer camp, only if we could find something worth sending them off to. Well we learned about Poconos Summer Camp and from reading about it on the site, it sounds good. We know the schedules because they will post the summer schedule on the site as well as let you know how much it will cost. I love knowing all of this before hand so that if I am interested in sending them, for day camp or whatever, we know what to expect.

Cookies To Die For

SO I am testing some recipes out, it is something that I always do right before thanksgiving so that I can know what to serve and what tastes right so that I can actually serve something proper, so one of the things that I am making some some cookies for the kids that will be over. So I went to nestles site and they had this recipe and decided to try, oh man they are some of the best that I have ever had and I am not just saying that because I made them, I seriously liked them, go to the site and see what I mean, so simple and so much flavor.

It is always good to join one of those groups, I have not but many of my mommy friends do and they love it. I just stick with true friends who are there for me and help keep my life sane. I find that whether I keep in touch vie email or on the phone, it is always a good feeling to have someone to chat with about those mommy days thatyou just feel like screaming.

I have heard that one of the biggest things that comes up during the holidays is how much is spent during the holidays, between food and getting luxurious gifts, it can really be costly. I try and hen i say try I stress the word, to put myself on a budget and spending limit it is so hard to control that because if I see something I want to get it for someone. So make a list and stick to how much you want to spend and not go broke, heaven knows that this day and age, we can not afford it.
